Typical one day tour and the favourite during the recent past:

Collect you wherever you are staying in the greater Cape Town area at 0930 (we are flexible)

Travel to one of the icon wineries where you will enjoy a flight of wines accompanied by sel-ected hand made chocolates from a top chocolatier. Short walk through the winery.

Depart when we are ready to do so for a top ten SA restaurant in the Stellenbosch winelands. We will enjoy a six course menu carefully hand-crafted by the executive chef and accompanied by a different wine from the Estate with each course.

Again, no rush, we leave for Grangehurst where iconic Red Winemaker Jeremy Walker will take us through a vertical tasting of his flagship wine spanning a decade. Experience first hand how the wines evolve. Oh, we will enjoy some of the finest local cheeses-the French and Swiss are concerned with the progress made in this regard!!

You will be safely and contently returned to your place of stay at about 18:30.

During the past summer this one day tour was a sell-out every time. (1December - 31 March)

Collect you at 0930 and travel to either a winery in Hout Bay, Constantia or Stellenbosch.

Enjoy a tasting of carefully selected wines with some tradional accompaniments such as smoorsnoek, droë wors.

We lunch at an wine estate and enjoy a traditional South African braaivleis (barbeque) or Crayfish braai (local lobster) with delicacies such as soetpatats, butternut. Again the wines are carefully chosen to match the specific flavours of each course.

When we are ready we travel through dramatic scenery to the next winery where the winemaker/owner will thoroughly spoil us with his/her range of hand-crafted wines.

We will be back at your overnight stop at approximately 18:30.

P.S. Quite a number of our guests have opted for different timing, starting at 1330 and returning late in the evening after dinner. We will offer you whatever works for you and is practically and logistically possible from our side.

Your kids (and you) will enjoy a lovely picnic in the heart of vin-yards and mountains with more than enough space for them to run around and play while you enjoy a gourmet feast accompanied by the best wine!

If you prefer to take a more ourdoor-like approach to your tour there are many places I can take you. We will cycle from winery to winery whilst taking in the breathtaking scenery of the Western Cape!

There is nothing quite like a proper South African Braai. Sometimes a braai (barbeque) is a much more personal and relaxing way to enjoy your food and your wine. What can be better than sitting in a special spot watching the sun go down and food on the fire?
